Welcome to the MacOrtho Pediatrics program.
We are an interdisciplinary group of clinicians and researchers with the goal of enabling kids to reach their full potential through the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
MacOrtho Pediatrics is a group of surgeons, researchers and allied healthcare professionals dedicated to providing quality patient care as well as leading medical education research efforts in pediatric orthopaedic surgery.
MacOrtho Pediatrics treats a broad range of orthopedic conditions affecting children. From treating fractures sustained on the playground to complex congenital conditions affecting childrens’ quality of life, our team of surgeons and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals is dedicated to empowering children to achieve their full potential.
At MacOrtho Pediatrics, we are committed to excellence in surgical education. Affiliated with the McMaster Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, MacOrtho Pediatrics is home to a one-year fellowship program with broad exposure to various pediatric orthopedic conditions and cutting edge treatment.
MacOrtho Pediatrics is proud to be associated with McMaster University, the home of evidence-based research. Our faculty, staff and researchers are actively involved in various research efforts ranging from systematic reviews to randomized controlled trials.
